The Gubi Way..

Our Philosophy

The Early Childhood Educator (ECE) team at Gubi Gabun Children’s Mobile Service (GGCMS) take a non-bias approach to early education and believe that each child should be given the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential. That each child and family has the right to be respected, regardless of their culture, race, gender, age, religion, physical and intellectual abilities, socio-economic or family status.

We believe in fostering a sense of belonging for children and their parents/carers and we strive to provide a comfortable, warm atmosphere where each individual is respected.

We believe in providing an environment where Educators and parents/carers can communicate and work with each other freely and openly for the benefit of the children.

We believe in our trained and experienced ECE team providing an interest based educational program that encourages exploration, experimentation and repetition in order to develop and extend individual abilities of the children through play.

We encourage and support the autonomy, independence, initiative and choice of children.

We welcome and value children with additional needs and we liaise regularly with other early childhood specialists associated with the special needs of children.

We believe that the child is of paramount importance and the ECE team are caring, friendly and sensitive to the individual needs of each child unique abilities, language and heritage.

We maintain an environment that is hygienic, safe and supervised using standards in the National Quality Framework, adapted to the ‘playsession’ environment, as a reference point as stated in the National Quality Regulations and standards. GGCMS uses the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards of the NQF as a reference point for high quality and safe service delivery.

We provide a program which encourages positive attitudes towards health and nutrition. As well as a program that connects relationships between community, children, parents, families and educators.
